Difficulties with current depository bank - we are in bad hands. now.

Ad Majorem.....Wealth Builders

Our business is suffering from mishandling by officers of long time depository bank .Our family banked with them for  36 years and its seems the way we are being treated by its officers, it for naught.  We maintained huge balances with them when we ran a savings and loan association.  We were models for the NOW account by CBP then.  We were guests by the President and Chairman of the Board at their house in Forbes park. We stood by them when they too were subject of nasty rumors and had its own bank run.  Their senior officers/VPs knew us and wrote us letters.

We also banked with them when we went into real estate:  subdivision development and memorial park business.

Could the bad service comes from the inexperience of the new officers

It used to be very large;  now they no longer number one.  It used to be great under its father and other senior officer.  This happens when there is a change of guard and the new generation takes over (as in a very large Chinese pharma.  A classmate used to run it, but when the nephew took over, its managers resigned in droves)

Some complaints about the bank:

l. The service fee for checks issued by majorem is charged between PHP 50 and PHP l00

2.  There is problem in getting checks;

3.  There was problem in the car loan application.  We all know that car loan approval takes 24 hours;  ours took weeks

4.  Our authorized signature, honored in some branches are not honored in other branches.

5.  I complained to their EVP  (school mate pa) and I did not hear anything more.

Well there are other banks.  The largest and 2nd bank are very agressive in looking and wooing for customers.  They solved the queing and have many tellers to handle both personal non banking activities and the corporate/business account

What would you do if you were in our situation?

What would you do if you were the depository bank management?
