First Rule in investing - Do not lose the principal
Ad Majorem.....Wealth Builders
Awarding ceremonies today for the inter barangay BFP olympics
One of the rules in investing is never lose the principal.
The first thing you do when invest is to invest in a house and insurance.
So if you have a house, you either invest in fire insurance or you invest in fire fighting equipment or fire protection. While the fire insurance can help you recover, you only get back the fraction of the replacement cost of the building that was burned down. The adjusted payment will be based on the depreciated cost of the building at the time it was built, and not on the current price. So it makes sense that you keep your building/house intact.
So these activities of the BFP to increase their firefighting assets and establishing fire brigades and having competition during he fire prevention week makes sense.
So support your local BFP unit and the volunteer fire brigade.
Getting ready for awarding ceremonies; Juan time is late
It rained before the celebration; had it been earlier
BFP have a mascot too
Pride in being a volunteer fire brigade fighter
The oldest fire fighting asset of the LGU
Trophies galore for the winners
Barangays now have fire fighting assets; 20 years ago the municipality had none
Barangays now have their own ambulances (from IRA?)
