The PHL has agreed to host the WEF forum next year President Aquino announced in the WEF meeting in Davos Switzerland. While this will not be as attended in Davos, this will put PHL in the map of the world.
PHL Boracay as been judged as the 5th tourist destination in the world by Travel and Leisure; also a romantic destination. There were 4.6 million tourist arrivals which although short of the target has spawned a lot of hotel construction. The PHL motto for tourism is "It more fun in the PHL"
What is the effect of this conference hosting to PHL prestige?
Will the Roubini statement on PHL strengthen PHL image as a rapid developing country
