Have you ever heard of Kanban? It was new to me when I was introduced to it in a startup environment a couple of years ago. Every day, software developers would huddle next to a whiteboard, moving index cards from "development" to "testing" to "deployment." What I learned when I asked is that Kanban is a system of "just in time" production that was pioneered by the Japanese automaker Toyota decades ago. It's now used by a number of entrepreneurs to help them stay flexible and profitable in the face of changing market conditions. Read on to learn more!
